Ayr Building services provide a complete design and build service, catering for all your home improvements and property maintenance care needs.
Ayr Building Services is run by James Waddell, a time served tradesman. At the age of 16 James started his apprenticeship with a leading building company in Mauchline, called Thomas Findlay and Sons. After gaining his qualifications and becoming a time served joiner, James went to work in London for a short time, continuing to build upon his skills.
On his return to Scotland, James began working for a company called Shire Housing, based in East Ayrshire. This found him renovating Government owned properties in Cumnock.
Ayr Building Services work in partnership with Shire Housing Providers of East Ayrshire Care and Repair.
We provide ongoing work experience in property care. This work consists of adjusting doors, replacing door locks, cutting the bottoms of doors to suit new carpets, replacing window handles and locks and much more.
Outside work is also taken care of including the levelling of pathways to properties and renewing broken and uneven concrete steps to disabled ramps with metal hand rails.
